NIACL AO Syllabus 2021, Detailed Exam Pattern & Syllabus

NIACL AO Syllabus 2021: New India Assurance Company Limited has invited eligible graduates and post-graduates for the post of Scale-I Administrative Officer (Generalist) and also announced the Prelims Exam to be held on 16th October 2021 and Mains in November 2021. Therefore with only 2 months left, the candidates must begin with their preparation for the NIACL AO 2021 Exam and for your help we have provided the complete syllabus in this section. The proper strategy before beginning the exam preparation is a must and the syllabus plays a vital role in strengthening preparations.

NIACL AO Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2021

The NIACL AO Prelims Exam consists of 3 sections namely Reasoning, Numerical Ability and English Language whereas, in Mains Exam, there will be an additional General Awareness Section and a descriptive test. In this article, we have discussed the section-wise NIACL AO Syllabus 2021 along with the detailed exam pattern.

NIACL AO Exam Pattern 2021

NIACL AO 2021 will be conducted in 3 phases: Prelims, Mains, and Interview. The candidate has to qualify each stage to get recruited at the post of Administrative Officer (Generalist) Scale-I.

NIACL AO 2021 Prelims Exam Pattern

1. Three sections: English, Reasoning, and Numerical/Quantitative Aptitude are covered in the prelims exam.

2. The duration for the exam is 1 hour (20 minutes each section)

3. A penalty of ¼th mark is deducted for incorrect answers.

NIACL AO 2021 Mains Exam Pattern

1. The Mains Exam is divided into 2 parts: Objective & Descriptive type

2. Passing both sections is compulsory.

3. The total duration of the NIACL AO Mains Exam is 2.5 hours, which is divided as 2 hrs for objective and 30 minutes for descriptive.

4. There will be 200 MCQ-type questions and 2 Essay/Letter Writing questions.

5.  ¼ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

NIACL AO Descriptive Test

The duration of the NIACL AO Descriptive Test will be 30 minutes for 30 marks test. It will be a Test of English Language – Letter & Essay writing. NIACL AO descriptive test will be conducted in English and will take place online.

NIACL AO Interview Process

The candidates qualifying for both Prelims & Mains exam will be called for an Interview round, which will be the final selection stage for Administrative Officer posts. The Ratio of the Online Examination and Interview Process will be calculated as 80:20.

NIACL AO Prelims Syllabus 2021

The questions of this section will be assessing the candidate’s knowledge about the English language and the questions will be of English language only.
