  • SSC Stenographer syllabus comprises three subjects: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language & Comprehension
  • SSC Stenographer exam is conducted in two phases: computer-based test (CBT) and skill test
  • The question paper consists of 200 questions of 200 marks. The duration of the test is two hours
  • Total 50 questions are asked from General Intelligence and Reasoning and General Awareness
  • Total 100 questions are asked from English Language and Comprehension
  • There is also a negative marking SSC Stenographer exam. 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer

General Intelligence & Reasoning The syllabus for General Intelligence and Reasoning consists of questions from Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. The test also includes questions that test a candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation, and other analytical functions
General Awareness Questions in this section are designed to test the ability of the candidate’s General Awareness
English Language & Comprehension This section aims to test the candidate’s English Language skills
